Franklin Ayensu-Nyarko is a finance and banking executive with extensive experience across sub-Saharan Africa, having served in various capacities in Ghana, Nigeria, and Zambia.
Mr Ayensu-Nyarko holds an Executive MBA from IE Business School. He is a Chartered Accountant (ACCA) and a Chartered Banker, and an alumnus of the University of Ghana.
Mr Ayensu-Nyarko has held several senior leadership roles, including Chief Financial Officer in multiple countries and Regional Treasurer for West Africa (formerly Nigeria). He brings deep expertise in treasury management, global markets, internal controls, risk management, and corporate finance.
Mr Ayensu-Nyarko has attended executive leadership programs at globally renowned institutions, including the Harvard Business School, London Business School, Wharton Business School, and the University of Pennsylvania.
Recognized for driving business growth and operational efficiency, Franklin currently serves as Executive Director, Wholesale Banking at Access Bank Rwanda, where he also oversees the Treasury function.
