Felicien Muvunyi is the founder and Managing Partner of Garnet Partners with 19 years of professional experience in audit and finance.
He is one of the founding members of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda (ICPAR) where he served for 4 years on the Governing Council and for 2 years on the Inspection Commission. Felicien was recently nominated by the Institute as the Chairman of the Professional Standards Committee (PSC).
He previously served as the Country Managing Partner of Ernst & Young Rwanda. At EY, he headed and participated in various audit and other assignments in Rwanda, Nigeria, Senegal, the Republic of South Africa and other African countries.
Felicien was also the Group CFO of Crystal Ventures Ltd for over 9 years. As part of the executive committee, he helped in the transformation of the CVL into one of the leading groups in the country. CVL is currently the largest holding group in Rwanda with interests in different sectors of the economy such as manufacturing, hospitality, or construction.
He speaks English and French fluently in addition to Kinyarwanda, Swahili and other regional languages. He is an avid reader and enjoys touring the world for leisure and business.
