Dapo Adepoju was the erstwhile Executive Director, Information Technology and Operations of Access Bank (Gambia) Limited, he resigned from this position in 2024 on secondment to Access Bank Rwanda Plc. He has over 20 years banking experience starting from Merchant Banking Corporation (now merged with First Bank Plc, Nigeria), Guaranty Trust Bank Plc and currently Access Bank Plc. His career journey has exposed him to varying experience in Information Technology, Treasury and Retail Operations, Private Banking and Commercial Banking. Prior to his resumption in the Gambia, he was the Zonal Retail Head, Operations for Abuja and North Central Zone of Access Bank Plc in Nigeria.
He graduated from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria with a Second-Class Upper degree in Agricultural Economics and obtained a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management from the University of Jos, Nigeria. He is also an alumnus of the University of South Wales in the United Kingdom where he obtained an MBA.
He has attended several professional and leadership trainings organized by local and international bodies including a Management program at the Wharton School, The University of Pennsylvania. He is also an alumnus of the Executive program on Leadership from INSEAD. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers Nigeria, and the Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria.
