Claudine GASARABWE is an Attorney registered with the Rwanda Bar Association since 1997.
She is a graduate of Université du Burundi (LLB Law Licence). Prior to joining the Bar Association, she was the Finance and Administrative Officer in charge of the Management and Cooperation Fund (FAC) in Caisse Française de Développement – Burundi Agency. She is a highly experienced Business and Labour Law professional with an interest in Alternative Dispute Resolution, mainly Arbitration and Mediation.
Mrs. Gasarabwe has served as the Principal Legal Counsel of Private Companies, National and International NGOs, among many others, including MTN Rwanda and World Vision Rwanda. She has also served as a Board member of various organizations, Committees, and councils, such as the High Council of the Judiciary and PROFEMMES.
Mrs. Gasarabwe is very committed to Women’s Rights promotion and Gender Parity, as well as Legal Counselling of Women in Business. As a highly dedicated Rwandan lawyer, she is a recipient of Gold Medal of 20 Years of Outstanding Passion to the Rwandan Bar (2017) and the Award for Continuous Legal Education (2018).
She is also a member of African Legal Professional bodies such as AWLA, PALU, UIA, and EALS.
